I have great big eyes that take up a lot of facial real estate.  Unlike most people, I spend most of my tivalentiatrueglowme putting on make-up trying to make my eyes look smaller, not larger.   That means that crows feet fine lines around my eyes are pretty darn noticeable and that, in turn, means that I am no stranger to eye creams.  Name the brand, I’ve probably tried it.  Unfortunately, I’ve never been hugely impressed with any of them.  Don’t get me wrong, I’ve liked plenty well enough, but I’ve never used one and thought, “Oh my gosh, this dramatically improving my eye area!”

And then, Valentia’s True Glow Eye Cream arrived in my mailbox, and my opinion on eye creams was forever changed.  In the interest of full disclosure, it should be noted that I received this product free of charge in exchange for writing an honest review.  I am honestly blown away by this product.

My expectations were pretty low.  I’ve used MANY extremely expensive, high-end eye creams that didn’t impress, so I figured that a product with a $25.00 price tag couldn’t be all that impressive.  I tried it the first night I had it, and I liked the extremely subtle fragrance – ever so slightly citrus-y and herbal, but not at all cloying or flowery.  I also really liked the texture – richer and creamier than typical eye creams that come in tubes, but not as thick and oily as the potted eye creams which I typically prefer.  This in between texture makes it very moisturizing at night, but also light enough to wear under make-up during the day.

The second day I used it, I seriously thought it was already improving the appearance of my eye area.  The third day, I was talking to myself in the bathroom mirror asking what could possibly be in this cream that had already made that dramatic of a change.

The miracle ingredients are the same ones that are in most products these days: for moisture and elasticity, resistem to repair and protect skin, Vitamin C for brightening the skin, organic rosehip oil for hydration and arnica as an anti-inflammatory.  My science brain

struggles with the “plant stem cells” of resistem, but since I haven’t done the research, we’ll just assume that Valentia has and go with it.  At any rate, in a very short period of time, this product has absolutely improved the appearance of my under-eye circles from chronic sleep deprivation and the fine lines around my eyes are significantly less noticeable.  It’s so dramatic that I really wish I had taken before and after pictures to share.  Unfortunately, I didn’t plan that far ahead so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

At any rate, a quick glance at the product’s Amazon page here will show you that I’m not the only one ultra-impressed with this product.  I’d also be willing to bet that the $25 price tag will creep up as the product becomes more established and known – so you might want to stock up now.  I certainly plan to!
